Our services include: Turfing and Seeding, Turf Aeration, Pesticide Application, Scarification and Top-Dressing.
Specialist Turf Treatments:
We deliver verti-draining services using the Wiendenmann Terra Spike, which can operate down to 400mm in depth with a unique system for setting the desired heave. This form of aeration can produce:
- Major improvement on surface and sub-surface compaction
- Deep drainage channels and fissures through the soil profile for water and air movement
- Channels for roots to develop into, giving better resistance to drought
- Variable tines to achieve your desired pattern and depth
Our verti-draining services are applicable for a range of sports surfaces, both finer turf areas – Golf Greens, Tees and Croquet Lawns – and coarser turfs – Cricket Outfields, Football and Rugby Pitches.
- Scarification & Mowing with Debris Collection – all in one pass
We offer a highly effective scarification and mowing service using the new GHS Jumbo Groundkeeper. This machine collects all the debris at the same time making this a quick and tidy operation. The benefits of scarification include:
- Improved surface water movement
- Better disease resistance
- Removal of spongy turf – giving better ball response
- Less worm activity, due to the removal of thatchy material
The Jumbo Groundskeeper is ideal for use on large areas of turf, such as Football, Rugby and Hockey Pitches, Cricket Outfields, Golf Fairways and General Amenity Turf.
We can offer a variable seeding rate of 1 to 60 kg/Ha with our 1.5meter Amazone Seeder. This equipment works the soil in front of the seed, delivers the seed and mixes it into the cultivated ground and firms the ground behind to place the seed in direct contact with the soil.
- Bulky Topdressing Application
We can achieve an even application of a variety of materials with our bulky Topdresser, which has a large capacity Hopper mounted on a conveyor belt base, which in turn feeds two spinning disks.
The topdressing can then be worked into the sward with either a drag mat, zigzag brushes, lute or leveling frame depending on your topdressing purpose.
